Effective 2026–2027 Seasonal Year
Important: These policies are electronically signed and acknowledged during the registration process. By completing registration, families are entering into a binding financial agreement with Rebels Central.
1. Seasonal Commitment
Acceptance of a roster position with Rebels Central creates a twelve (12) consecutive month financial commitment beginning on the date of registration.
Roster acceptance:
- Reserves a limited team position
- Prevents the club from offering that position to another player
- Immediately commits the club to league, insurance, coaching, field, and operational expenses
Accordingly:
- Registration fees are earned upon acceptance of a roster position and are non-refundable except as expressly stated in this agreement.
- Financial responsibility is not dependent upon playing time, team placement, coaching decisions, relocation, schedule conflicts, or voluntary withdrawal.
2. Registration Fees & Payment Plans
Installment plans are offered as a convenience to families through GotSport.
- Each installment includes a non-refundable $4 processing fee charged by GotSport.
- Selection of a payment plan does not reduce the total seasonal financial obligation.
- All balances must be paid in full by September 1, 2026, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the club.
Accounts must remain current to:
- Participate in league competition
- Receive a Player ID
- Remain eligible for roster placement
Failure to remain current may result in suspension until the account is brought into good standing.
3. Mandatory Tournaments (Separate Financial Obligation)
Participation in designated club and team tournaments — including summer events — is a required component of team placement.
Tournament fees:
- Are separate from registration fees
- Are mandatory for all rostered players
- Are divided among rostered team members
- Remain due regardless of attendance
Tournament commitments are part of the competitive structure of Rebels Central and are not optional.
4. Deposit Policy
The initial $350 deposit is non-refundable, except as expressly stated in this agreement.
The deposit:
- Secures the roster position
- Offsets initial league and administrative expenses
5. Withdrawal, Transfer, or Release
If a player voluntarily withdraws, requests transfer, or is removed from the team:
- Remaining registration balances under this agreement become immediately due and payable.
- Tournament assessments already committed remain due.
Removal from the team does not cancel or void this financial agreement.
Rebels Central will not approve a player release while balances remain unpaid.
6. Scholarships & Financial Aid
Financial aid reduces upfront burden but does not eliminate total financial responsibility.
If a scholarship recipient requests transfer or release:
- The full value of the scholarship must be repaid prior to release.
- No Player ID or transfer paperwork will be processed while balances remain outstanding.
7. Medical Hardship (Limited Review)
In the event of a documented season-ending injury or serious medical condition:
- A written request with licensed physician documentation may be submitted.
- The Executive Board may review the request at its sole discretion.
If relief is approved:
- It will be issued as a club credit only.
- It does not constitute a cash refund.
- It does not include the deposit, processing fees, or tournament fees already committed.
Approval is not guaranteed.
8. Late Payments & Enforcement
To ensure fairness and operational stability:
- A $35 late fee applies five (5) calendar days after a missed payment.
- Accounts 15 days past due may result in suspension from participation.
- Accounts 30 days past due may result in roster removal.
Removal does not cancel financial obligations under this agreement.
In the event of default, Rebels Central may recover reasonable collection costs and attorney’s fees as permitted by law.
9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Initiating a credit card chargeback or payment dispute does not void this agreement.
If a chargeback is filed:
- The remaining balance under this agreement becomes immediately due and payable.
- The player may be suspended pending resolution.
- Administrative and dispute-related fees may be applied.
10. Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond the control of the club — including but not limited to natural disasters, public health mandates, governmental restrictions, or facility closures — Rebels Central shall not be liable for interruptions to programming.
Financial obligations under this agreement remain in effect.
Electronic Agreement & Acknowledgment
This agreement is electronically executed during the registration process. By completing registration, the registrant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all Rebels Central policies, including:
- The twelve (12) month seasonal commitment
- Financial obligations
- Non-refundable fee structure
- Tournament requirements
- Enforcement procedures
Rebels Central operates under the policies of US Club Soccer and the SoCal Soccer League. Players are rostered according to their school-year age group, not birth year, in compliance with league regulations.
Player placement decisions are based on:
- School-year eligibility
- Competitive level
- Developmental needs
- Roster availability
- League approval
Placement decisions are final. Requests for placement outside of a designated school-year age group are not guaranteed and are reviewed at the club’s discretion in accordance with league rules.
All Rebels Central teams are expected to participate in scheduled summer tournaments. Summer competition is an essential part of our development model, helping players:
- Maintain fitness
- Build team chemistry
- Prepare for the fall season
Structured breaks are built into the summer calendar to allow time for rest and family commitments. Tournament schedules are released in advance to assist with planning.
Participation in scheduled tournaments is mandatory for all rostered players. A player’s absence does not void their financial obligation. Tournament fees and related expenses remain the responsibility of the player’s family, as costs are calculated based on full team participation.
Rebels Central utilizes the GotSport Team App as the official platform for team communication, scheduling, attendance tracking, and important club updates.
