Born and raised in Thousand Oaks, CA, Matthew Escobar is a passionate and driven soccer trainer dedicated to giving back to his community. With over 15 years of playing experience and six years of coaching under his belt, he has worked with athletes at the highest youth levels, including ECNL and MLS Next, as well as collegiate and semi-pro players. Matt’s dynamic coaching style and leadership inspire players to push their limits, refine their skills, and develop a strong competitive mindset. Committed to shaping the next generation of athletes, he brings energy, expertise, and a deep love for the game to every training session.

With expertise across multiple positions—including center-back, defensive midfield, and striker—he is passionate about sharing his deep understanding of the game with the growing soccer community in San Diego. Since arriving in San Diego, Aidan has successfully led elite-level striker clinics, helping aspiring athletes refine their technical skills, boost confidence on the ball, and elevate their Soccer IQ.
